Thanks to everyone who supported our cake stall at the Parish Hall Christmas Market… we raised an amazing £154.40  for shop funds.

As the community of Cheriton Fitzpaine gathers together to celebrate another successful year, it’s important that we take a moment to acknowledge and give thanks to those who have helped make it all possible. One group of individuals that truly stands out in this regard is the cake stall that raised over £150 for the community shop funds.

The community shop is a vital resource for many of us here in Cheriton, providing much-needed goods and services to those in need. It’s through the hard work and dedication of volunteers like the ones who manned the cake stall that we are able to keep the shop running and continue to serve our community.

The cake stall itself was a true testament to the generosity and creativity of our community. The delicious selection of cakes and desserts on offer was truly impressive, and it was clear that a great deal of time and effort had gone into making them. From classic favorites like chocolate cake and lemon drizzle, to more exotic offerings like matcha green tea and blueberry lemon, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

But it wasn’t just the delicious treats that made the cake stall such a success. It was also the friendly and welcoming attitudes of the volunteers that helped to create such a positive atmosphere. They were always happy to chat and share stories, and they truly seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the rest of us were.

Of course, we must also acknowledge the many customers who came out to support the cake stall. Your willingness to donate to such a worthy cause is truly appreciated, and it is through your contributions that we are able to continue to support the community shop and all of its important work.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the cake stall volunteers Julie, Richard, Jo, Hilary and Chloe and all of the customers who supported them. Your contributions have made a real difference in our community, and we are grateful for everything that you have done. Here’s to another year of success for the community shop, and all of the wonderful people who help to make it possible.
